1. Shutter Island
   Best DiCaprio film in a while. Predictable but still entertaining.
2. Precious
   Hard to watch at times. Mo’Nique is a lock for the Oscar.
3. The Hurt Locker
   Incredibly well made. Storyline is completely unique. One of my top films of the year.
4. August: Osage County
   Best play we’ve seen in a while. Act I started slowly. Act II was one of the best pieces of writing in American playwrighting history. Hilarious, touching, uncomfortable, and shocking all in a span of one scene. Dysfunctionality at its finest.

All in all, a great weekend for watching. But, seriously, go see August: Osage County when/if you get the chance. I can’t praise it enough.
