Wide format tumblr theme…

Please someone create a wide format theme, taking advantage of the full 960. I’m tired of seeing 500px wide images. I don’t know what exact size the content should be, but how about something that would allow images around 700 - 750px wide? Here is a beautiful blog taking advantage: idsgn

Or if there is one, please someone point me in the right direction. I need to start laying out a blog theme for my wife who is going to start blogging soon.

The reason you see so many blogs at 500px is that Tumblr only supports resized photos to be, at most, 500px wide. What you could do is create a high-res photo tag in your theme and just make sure it’s resized to 960 or whatever you want it at. Although the thought of taking every photo that I post into Photoshop and resizing them makes my head hurt. The other problem with that is that any reblogs will be too small the fill the area. I’ve considered these things as well and if you figure them out, let me know though.
