Metric - Succexy

Listening to old Metric this morning and my crush on Emily grows more and more.

Also, I’m pretty sure this was the very first Metric song I ever heard. It was the summer of 2004 and my friend John had called me up and asked if we wanted to go see Metric that night. Neither Alexis or I had heard of Metric, but we knew Emily from Broken Social Scene so we said why not. The show was at the 930 Club in DC which, to this day, is still my absolute favorite venue to see a concert. The Most Serene Republic had opened and then the whole light show started up and they belted out this song. It was a great.
