For the past few days, Alexis and I spent our time trekking though southwestern Pennsylvania. This morning, before we left, we toured the second most famous house in American architecture - behind the White House of course. It was amazing! I cannot put into words how spectacular this house is. In college, I wrote papers (notice the plural there) on the simplicity and greatness of space but getting to experience it brings a whole new perspective to the home. It is mastery in it’s greatest form. I kid you not when I tell you we spent a good half hour from the postcard vantage point (the photo above) just staring. It’s absolutely perfect. I’ll set up a tag as I’m sure my obsession with this house will lead to more posts in the near future.

(Just a note, this photograph is straight off the camera. There is no Photoshoping - other than to make it smaller than the 18mp original. The house really is that perfect!)
