In all seriousness, I come here not to dispute the suggestion that I haven’t yet achieved enough in my life. I come to embrace it; to heartily concur; to affirm that one’s title, even a title like President, says very little about how well one’s life has been led - and that no matter how much you’ve done, or how successful you’ve been, there’s always more to do, more to learn, more to achieve.
From President Obama’s ASU commencement address, in reference to the fact that the university didn’t give him an honorary degree because he hasn’t accomplished enough yet. I think this is a pretty classy statement after being so publicly snubbed.
SNL did a wonderful job poking fun at the irony of ASU, more known for it’s parties than academics, was the school that rejected giving him an honorary degree.
