This fucking guy makes me happier than any athlete should. Not in that way… not that there’s anything wrong with that. It’s funny, had you told me this 15 years ago, after this play happened, I would punched you straight in the face. No joke. I cried for a solid half hour after that game. I was 12 at the time… and I needed my dad to console me. There’s no one else I would rather see in net wearing the winged wheel. He may not be the best ever but, god dammit, he’s ours and he’s given me a lifetime’s worth of memories in only 20 years.
