I just spent about 15 minutes poking around with this map provided by The Atlantic. It shows patents, income and population shifts over the past 30+ years in America.
What I find really interesting is the patents. Silicon Valley has a ton (expected) as well as New England (also expected) but the other main area is right here in the Midwest… and not in Chicago, but Ann Arbor and Oshkosh? I...
