Dear Tumblr peeps, I’ve been thinking about it and I need to add more original content to this blog. Most of my posts are links or videos and not much that comes directly from my thoughts. I feel like I might be a fairly smart guy so maybe there is something in this head that can be of use. I’ll work on it. Please hold me to it, ok? You guys rock, Addam

Here’s a the official list of the differences between HTML 4 and HTML 5. My favorite is the new Elements list. I can’t wait to use the <article> and <nav> tags.

Tumblr Post About Tumblr (TPAT)
topherchris: I’m filing this report for nobody in particular: I was definitely following kylebunch, but wasn’t seeing his updates. Unfollowing and then following again fixed it. FWIW FTW BBQ. I’ve been told this is happening with my RSS feed as well. Seeing as I don’t subscribe to my own blog, I didn’t know that until my friend told me. WTF’s up Tumblr?

Lupe Ontiveros →
Lupe Ontiveros (born September 17, 1942) is an American film and television actress. Ontiveros has acted in numerous films and television shows, most often playing a maid or, more recently, an all-knowing grandmother; the actress estimates she has played a maid between 150 and 300 times on screen. Screw McLovin’. This is typecasting at it’s finest.

No more twirling of the octopus →
The Wings have been told by the league that if Al Sobotka (or anyone else) twirls the octopus that’s thrown onto the ice before playoff games, it’ll cost the team $10,000. This is unbelievable to me.

Earthquake rattles Illinois →
I was up around 5 am this morning and laying in my bed. It kept shaking for about a 30 seconds, not much, just gently swaying. I thought “WTF is going on? Is this an earthquake?” I guess it was.

Am I the only one that is continually amazed by the efforts of Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich? This season is the best so far and I’m pretty sure I’m digging it more than This American Life at the moment.

The Last Meal on the Titanic →
romeojulietsierra: 96 years ago, the Titanic was preparing for its maiden voyage. It was on April 14th, 1912, when the last meal was served in the first-class dining room. As we all know, later that night, the ship collided with an iceberg and sank, with the loss of over 1500 lives. Here’s a detailed look at what was on the menu for the first-class passengers My college roommate was a huge...

Why Basecamp Sux.org →
Take away the fact that the first two scrolls of the page are a huge callout for the guy to make money and I think there is something to this. The few times I have emailed Basecamp support, Jason’s responses have been less than kind. I understand they have a lot of email coming in from users but here’s lesson number 1… your CEO, no matter how small the company, should not be...

Craiglist stoner thanks pizza guy for best pizza... →
erockappel: So funny! Some stoner from Ann Arbor posted a “missed connection” to his pizza guy: “I called you from my cell phone but had completely forgot who I was calling by the time you answered the phone. Of course, you were also baked to bajeezus and forgot to tell me that I had called Cottage Inn. When you answered and said, “Whatsup?” I thought about it, and after a 20 second pause I...
